The sacai x Nike VaporWaffle Black Gum applies a monochrome finish to a hybrid silhouette that takes cues from the Nike Vapourfly and the original Pegasus model from 1983. The upper, crafted from black nylon with tonal suede and leather overlays at the forefoot and heel, features Chitose Abes signature doubled-up tongues and laces. Dual sacai and Nike branding decorates the heel tab and custom sockliner. The sneaker is mounted on a stacked foam midsole, featuring split detailing in the heel and a grippy gum rubber outsole underfoot.
